Poultry and eggs for Sale

Hatching will be starting for the season very soon!!
the 2025 waiting list is open now!

Hatching eggs, started chicks, straight run, and

sexed pullets and cockerels off heat.

Generally there are too many to list individually. So feel free to check with me to see if the breed or variety you are looking for is available.

Hatching, once it begins, will continue through August.

Contact for availability or to be put on
a WAITING LIST for chicks, minimum 3 weeks old (no day-
old),
adolescents off heat, grow outs, or hatching eggs. Some varieties have a longer list than others.

All roosters are guaranteed not to be human aggressive. If they turn out to be an issue, i will accept them back and replace them when I have something available you want of equal value. I will not breed them or re-sell them. The buck ends here. Due to biosecurity they will only go in my bachelor flock and ultimately the stew pot, because I have no tolerance for that temperament in domestic animals.
That being said, I have never needed to, to this date. I have a lot of  customers very happy with their roosters.

Please be aware! I am not a hatchery. You will not find birds at hatchery prices. They are not from hatchery stock. Prices are based on what it costs to acquire, breed and raise the breeding stock to the quality that I have, based on feed, electricity, care, time and experience.
I am one person, in this hobby for the love of the birds. I breed to the standard of perfection, and to the highest possible health and quality. I do exhibit my birds. I breed a limited number of birds, for breed type, and temperament, for my own goals, and sell any extras I don't plan to retain myself for exhibition and breeding.
This is why I have a waiting list, and very happy customers, many of whom are repeat customers, and have become friends.

CHECK BACK SOON!
Feel free to call, text, e-mail, or message me on Facebook.
Phone calls or text will be the quickest reply. (for some reason messages through the website are not very quick)

I am NPIP and AI certified and I DO SHIP eggs and birds over 3
weeks of age
to the lower 48 United States!

WHAT I CAN AND CAN NOT  GUARANTEE!!
PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU PURCHASE ANYTHING!
I request deposits to be placed to guarantee your sale of eggs or birds. I have had to many people waste my time by putting them on a list and not following through.
A deposit guarantees your place in line for exactly what you request. I DO NOT refund deposits unless I cannot fulfill your request. Which I do my best to do.
If you, for some reason, must cancel your order, your deposit can be maintained and transferred to another breed, or to an order for next breeding season, at the top of the list.

I guarantee that any animal I sell is perfectly healthy when it leaves my farm. I have no control over shipping damages, or losses after purchase because I have no control over what happens to them, or what they are exposed to, once they leave my care.
I recommend all animals be quarantined when moved to a new home, for at least 2 weeks, regardless of the species. I do this myself when I attain new stock. The stress of moving can reduce their resistance to disease, and they may be exposed to things at your farm, that they are not resistant to, as well as vice versa. sometimes people choose to introduce animals directly to their flock. This is at your own risk. I maintain strict bio-security for my flocks.

I am happy to mentor any customers on care to the best of my ability.

HATCHING EGGS
I do not make any breed or variety of hatching eggs available for sale until I have confirmed good fertility (80-100%) and have hatched some myself this season.
I have perfected my manner of shipping as such that there have been ZERO eggs lost due to breakage in the last 2 years, as of 2023. When 1 dozen are purchased I do include a few extras.

HATCHING SHIPPED EGGS IS A GAMBLE!
There is NO GUARANTEE of hatching with shipped eggs! Even if you pick them up here. Certainly if you pick them up you improve your odds, because you can ensure they don't experience rough handling, heat, cold, X-rays and other things that can affect hatchability.
But I also cannot guarantee the set up, quality, accuracy and experience you have hatching eggs.
Even with 100% fertility, I experience incubator issues, power outages, weather extremes and other things that can affect hatch rates. So I certainly cannot make promises for you. But I am happy to give you my recommendations, and the way I hatch shipped eggs, for the best success.
There are also groups on Facebook that you can learn this from. Please do your research and have your incubator set up and calibrated, 24 hours BEFORE your eggs arrive.

I hatch with a "dry hatch" method. Which means I DO NOT add water to increase humidity unless it is below 30%. I do not want it above 40-45% as a general rule, until 'lockdown' which is day 18-19 when I increase humidity to 50-60% for hatching. With shipped eggs I TURN OFF the turner and incubate eggs UPRIGHT for the first week, to stabilize damaged air cells. After that they can be positioned and turned as normal. With these recommendations I generally get 50-75%, or higher, hatch rates with shipped eggs. My customers have gotten 80-90%.

***Swedish Flower eggs REQUIRE DRY HATCH methods for success! (30-35% humidity through day 18, 45-55% humidity day 18-21 is ideal in my experience) All of my other breeds hatch well at this percentage too.
